ENVIRONNEMENT ET CONTEXTE DE TRAVAIL

L'École des hautes études en sciences sociales (www.ehess.fr) est un établissement public à caractère scientifique, culturel et professionnel, « grand établissement» assurant une mission de recherche dans le domaine des sciences humaines et sociales et de formation à la recherche. L'établissement accueille 3000 étudiants dont 1 500 doctorants (avec près de 250 thèses soutenues par an dans toutes les disciplines des sciences sociales) et autant de mastérants. L’EHESS accueille également 40 unités de recherche organisées autour d'un domaine, d'une approche ou, pour un tiers d'entre elles, d'une « aire culturelle ». En leur sein, plus de 500 enseignants et chercheurs développent les savoirs, forment et encadrent les étudiants de master et les doctorants.

L’École est membre fondateur de l’Etablissement public Campus Condorcet, dont la mission est la coopération scientifique entre ses membres fondateurs, et notamment le soutien à leurs programmes de recherche, et la mise à disposition des chercheurs et des étudiants fréquentant le Campus de conditions de vie et de travail à la hauteur des normes internationales.

Lauréat de la seconde vague des Investissement d’avenir, le LabEx TEPSIS (Transformation de l’Etat, Politisation des Sociétés, Institution du Social) est composé de 15 unités de recherches de sciences sociales et du Centre de formation des Journalistes (CFJ). La liste des 15 laboratoires figure sur le site du LabEx tepsis.io de même que celle de ses plus de 300 chercheuses et chercheurs qui en sont membres. Partant de l’exploration historique, sociologique et philosophique de la diversité des modes d’intervention du politique dans la Cité et dans l’espace des sociétés, les approches multidisciplinaires du LabEx relient l’analyse des modes de gouvernement des sociétés modernes et contemporaines, et celle des pratiques sociales qui transforment les formes d’organisation et de régulation des activités humaines.

MISSIONS

Tâches collectives

• Le/la post-doctorant.e devra travailler en pleine synergie avec les membres du CCJ, mobilisé.e.s sur la thématique correspondante ;
• Il ou elle travaillera dans une perspective constante d’interdisciplinarité et en lien avec les autres post-doctorantes et post-doctorants de la cohorte (recruté.e.s pour le compte de TEPSIS durant la même période et affecté.e.s à d’autres unités membres du LabEx) ;
• En accord avec l’équipe du CCJ, il ou elle participera à l’organisation de séminaires de

recherche, à des publications collectives, participera à l’encadrement collectif des mastérants et doctorants.

Recherche individuelle
Le.a chercheur-e développera une recherche originale s’insérant dans la thématique susmentionnée.
Chaque unité de recherche proposera, sur son site internet, plus de précisions au sujet de la thématique proposée.

 

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

- Être titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences sociales obtenu impérativement entre le 1er juillet 2021 et le 5
mars 2024.

Début avril 2024, le jury du LabEx TEPSIS étudiera les candidatures reçues sur proposition des quinze unités qui composent le LabEx (correspondant à quinze profils scientifiques dont la spécialisation susmentionnée) et en retiendra dix, qui constitueront une cohorte de post-doctorant.e.s.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONTEXT

Winner of the second wave of Investissement d’avenir, the laboratory centre of excellence, LabEx TEPSIS (Transformation de l'Etat, Politisation des Sociétés, Institution du Social) comprises 15 social science research centers and the Centre de Formation des Journalistes (CFJ). The 15 Mixed Research Centers (unités mixtes de recherche, UMR) are listed on the LabEx tepsis.io website, along with the 300-plus researchers who are members. Based on a historical, sociological and philosophical exploration of the diversity of modes of political intervention in the city and in the space of societies, the LabEx's multidisciplinary approaches link the analysis of modes of government in modern and contemporary societies, and that of social practices that transform the forms of organization and
regulation of human activities.

MISSIONS

Collective tasks

• The post-doc will work in full synergy with the members of "China, Korea, Japan", mobilized on the corresponding theme;
• He or she will work in a constant perspective of interdisciplinarity and in liaison with the other post-doctoral fellows in the cohort (recruited on behalf of TEPSIS during the same period and assigned to other LabEx member units);
• In agreement with the CCJ team, he or she will participate in the organization of research seminars, collective publications and the collective supervision of master's and doctoral students.

The researcher will develop original research in line with the above-mentioned field. Each research unit will provide further details of the proposed theme on its website.

 

RESEARCH PROFILE
- Hold a PhD degree in the social sciences obtained between July 1er 2021 and March 5 2024.
